EPISODE DESCRIPTION

Best known as the long time (only) Drummer for Weird Al Yankovic, Bermuda Schwartz is also a Ludwig drums aficionado. We talk extensively about Ludwig drums, vintage drums, collecting, shell composition, bearing edges - real drum geek stuff. Then we talk about his work with Weird Al. Remember - this guy has to replicate many different styles and sounds in the studio and live - Bermuda does it all like a character actor inhabiting a role. He's a great guy, and he loves to talk drums. He's also very tuned in to what's going on in the industry today. You can learn a lot from this guy. He's been around the block a few times. Photo of Bermuda by Ronn Dunnett. Recorded in Hollywood, CA, March 2013
